Faye is passionate about developing a schools capacity for self-improvement. Working as an Advanced Skills Teacher for eight years, Faye had the opportunity to work in partnership with the Local Authority and numerous schools to support and improve standards. She particularly enjoyed working across both primary and secondary phases supporting pupils and teachers to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
As a SLE for Geography and as an associate member of the SLT, Faye has led on the planning, implementation and evaluation of a range of CPD initiatives aimed at improving teaching and learning; and therefore the outcomes of pupils. It has always been her belief that it is our duty to develop the potential of all learners and teachers. As a school and as individuals everyone must strive to continue development. It is this belief that drives Faye forward and motivates her to challenge staff and pupils to achieve their potential, ensuring that the school continues to move forward.
She is passionate about improving the life chances of young people and believes that the SLE role helps support the changes needed for this to happen.
