Manina’s role currently involves working across the family of schools ensuring that all students achieve their potential in Mathematics. This involves working with Mathematics departments and across school communities to ensure teaching and learning is the best it can be and that any interventions needed are put into place.
She has previously worked in four large secondary schools in Leeds and Sheffield fulfilling the roles of AST, Head of Faculty, Assistant Principal (mathematics, data and intervention) and Intervention Team Leader whilst working across a group of cooperative trust schools in Leeds.
Manina believes that being a teacher is about making an impact, an impression, and an indelible mark. What you say, what you do and how you say it will stay with students and they in turn may pass it on. Teaching touches the lives of young people and helps alter the course of their future.
