In her current role, Michaela’s key responsibilities include; developing global learning and Internationalism across the school, leading the ITT, NQT, GTP, and MLDP programmes, and National Support School work as a Consultant Leader. She has been teaching Physical Education for twelve years and has experienced a wide range of senior leadership, learning leader level, and departmental leadership roles, which have developed her leadership skills and understanding of whole school leadership significantly. Michaela spent a term in the role of acting Director of Sixth Form and Assistant Head teacher, a term as Associate SLT member, and three years as Post 16 Learning Leader.
Michaela enjoys identifying potential future leaders and working with them to help them grow and has coached and mentored staff at all levels of their career. She now oversees all CPD including ITT, NQT and GTP training, INSET and developments across the academy, delivering new staff training and induction sessions.
