This is an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified, driven professional who is an outstanding classroom practitioner and leader to join our team of Associate Directors. You will be an inspiring leader with the energy and creativity to support heads of departments, teachers and students. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and be passionate in sharing our single goal of ‘students first’.
By working as part of our team of English Directors and Associate Directors, you will be relentless in building student self-esteem and encouraging students to aspire in English. By providing direct support you will ensure departments have clear vision with consistent expectations which nurture, praise and celebrate the success of students. You will make an impact on the provision and quality students receive, ensuring their progress and positive experience of English.
You will be student outcome driven, have the leadership experience and have the ability to challenge individuals within teams whilst supporting them to maintain outstanding results. You will be an excellent teacher with outstanding subject knowledge.
It will be important for you to have had experience in leading a department where there has been a positive impact on outcomes, have an understanding of the WJEC/Eduqas syllabus, and knowledge and understanding of the Ofsted inspection process. The role of an Associate Director requires flexibility and being able to respond to the particular needs and context of a department; this may range from leading at a strategic level or running a department for an extended period.
