The MFL twilight sessions are suitable for all Teachers of MFL working in an OGAT academy.

 There are three sessions available and you can choose to attend as many as you wish:

Value adding vocabulary, Wednesday 9th October, 4pm – 6pm

Vocabulary is the key to all knowledge! This session will look at how to use google forms & Outwood quizzing systems to support regular testing of vocab for all year groups.

 Y10: ‘The lost & forgotten year’, Monday 20th January, 4pm – 6pm

Many of our students are not exam ready and sometimes lose their way in language learning.  This session will look at raising the aspirations of students to access target grades (especially higher) and developing the resilience, mind set & can do attitude in students to be year 11 ready.  

 Best practice to inspire uptake at GCSE, Monday 11th May, 4pm – 6pm

We are all feeling the pressure to increase the number of students in our schools studying the full EBacc, we need to continue to motivate our students to choose our subject willingly.  This session will explore ideas and strategies inside and outside the classroom via sharing what we know works across the Trust.  

These sessions are free for OGAT staff.
