Teacher of Geography Outwood Grange Academy, Wakefield, West Yorkshire - Vacancy

With ever-increasing uptake of the subject at GCSE and A-level taking place, we are looking for a full time teacher of Geography commencing in September 2017. We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring classroom practitioner with a real passion for Geography. We offer an exciting opportunity to enhance an already highly successful and motivated team. Outwood Grange Academy is an Academy of Excellence and a very high performing academy. A*-C in English/Maths: 84% Progress 8: +0.42 Attainment 8: 5.6
Geography: 74% A* - C

In our last OFSTED inspection (March 2012) we were judged outstanding in all areas including an outstanding judgment for overall effectiveness. Ofsted recognised that ‘Outstanding teaching is at the root of students’ excellent achievement’ and ‘the excellent behaviour of students contributes to an outstanding climate for learning’.
