Castleford Academy Trust is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Science Support Assistant in order to strengthen the Science Department.
The successful candidate will support the Senior Technican and the Department in providing effective technical support.
Your experience should include:
Knowledge of health and safety procedures and information resources.
Understanding of the safe treatment and disposal of used materials including hazardous
substances and responding to actual or potential hazards;
The healthy and safe storage and accessibility of equipment and materials.
Disposal of waste materials under supervision.
Maintain resources and manage stock.
General cleaning and checking of basic equipment in laboratories.
Cleaning and repairing equipment.
