Teacher of English Outwood Academy City Fields, Wakefield - Vacancy

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of English to join our school.

Wakefield City Academy, shortly to become Outwood Academy City Fields will be part of the Outwood Grange Family of Schools from 1 June 2018. The successful candidate will be able to access the extensive advice, support, resources, CPD and career opportunities available in the academy and across the Outwood Grange Family of Schools.

The school is very proud to have been judged Outstanding in our last 3 inspections by Ofsted. We are a small school that plays an integral part in the community and “the students have a sense of belonging to the Wakefield City Academy Family” (Ofsted 2013).

The English department are a fantastic supportive team who provide outstanding teaching and learning from Year 7 to 11. Students are being prepared for the WJEC/Eduqas GCSEs in English Language and English Literature.
